Trabeculectomy Bleb Leak (Video)

This eye has a leaking bleb leak after a glaucoma procedure. Everytime the eye blinks, a small amount of aqueous fluid drains out onto the surface of the cornea. It is important to tack the conjunctiva down well at the end of the case to avoid this scenario … some people even place a vertical matress suture using 10-0 nylon at the leading edge.
