Munson’s Sign from Keratoconus (Photo)

munsonsign.jpg

This photo shows a Munson’s sign of the cornea. Keratoconus causes the cornea to bulge forward in a cone. This can be seen by having your patient look down. The “bulge” will push the lower eyelid forward right in the middle.

This snapshot was taken from our Munson’s sign video, which you may want to watch to get a better idea how this appears in real practice.
