Ingrowth of Epithelial Cells Under LASIK flap (Photo)

This photograph may be hard to comprehend, but it is a magnified view of the cornea after Lasik vision correction. There is a mass of white-opacities near the limbus. These area epithelial cells that have grown under the flap. This ingrowth is a common findings and generally does not cause any problems.
