Nuclear Sclerotic Cataract (Photo)

This microscopic snapshot shows a typical nuclear sclertic cataract. These lenses look brunescent (brown/yellow) and light up with a thin slit-lamp light (like in this photo).
Slit-lamp photos can be difficult to understand, so to get a better idea of what these cataracts look like you may want to look at out nuclear cataract video.
