
This photo shows a hypermature Morganian cataract. The lens comes in three layers (like a peanut MM). The outer capsule, middle cortex, and a central nut. In this lens the cortex has liquified and become white. The nucleus has turned yellow-brown, hardened, and sunk to the bottom.
